असाक्षिकेषु चार्थेषु मिथो विवदमानयोः । राजद्रोहाभिशापेषु साहसेषु तथैव च
asākṣikeṣu cārtheṣu mitho vivadamānayoḥ | rājadrohābhiśāpeṣu sāhaseṣu tathaiva ca
जहाँ साक्षी न हों और दोनों पक्ष परस्पर विवाद करें; राजा-द्रोह के अभियोगों में; शाप-आक्षेपों में; तथा साहस/हिंसा के कार्यों में भी—ऐसे प्रसंगों में दिव्य परीक्षाएँ प्रयुक्त होती हैं।
