भावशुद्धिः परं शौचं प्रमाणं सर्वकर्मसु । अन्यथालिंग्यते कांता भावेन दुहिताऽन्यथा
bhāvaśuddhiḥ paraṃ śaucaṃ pramāṇaṃ sarvakarmasu | anyathāliṃgyate kāṃtā bhāvena duhitā'nyathā
भाव-शुद्धि ही परम शौच है और वही सब कर्मों में प्रमाण है। अन्यथा भाव-विपर्यय से कोई अपनी प्रिया को पुत्री समझकर आलिंगन कर बैठे, और पुत्री को किसी और-सी।
