Transliteration

evaṃvidhaṃ hi mānu'yamā garbhāditi kaṣṭadam | asthipaṭṭatulāstambhe snāyubandhena yaṃtrite

ऐसा ही यह मानव-शरीर है—गर्भ से ही कष्टदायक; हड्डियों की पट्टियों और स्तम्भों के ढाँचे-सा, नसों के बन्धन से जकड़ा हुआ।
