सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
सदा सत्य बोलना चाहिए, और नित्य मैत्रीभाव का पालन करना चाहिए; जो कर्म निरंतर क्लेश और उद्वेग उत्पन्न करें, उन्हें छोड़ देना चाहिए। इस लोक में जैसा दिन बीतता है, वैसा ही परलोक बनता है; इसलिए बुद्धिमानों को गहन योग द्वारा आत्मा का पूजन करना चाहिए।
