तदद्भुतं महद्दृष्ट्वा नैव विप्रो विसिष्मिये । यतो बहुविधं चित्रं भवेद्भूताद्युपासिषु
tadadbhutaṃ mahaddṛṣṭvā naiva vipro visiṣmiye | yato bahuvidhaṃ citraṃ bhavedbhūtādyupāsiṣu
उस महान् अद्भुत को देखकर भी वह ब्राह्मण तनिक भी विस्मित न हुआ; क्योंकि भूत-प्रेत आदि की उपासना करने वालों में अनेक प्रकार के विचित्र चमत्कार हो जाते हैं।
