मेढीभूतः समस्तस्य ज्योतिश्चक्रस्य वै ध्रुवः । ध्रुवोऽपि शिंशुमारस्य पुच्छाधारे व्यवस्थितः
meḍhībhūtaḥ samastasya jyotiścakrasya vai dhruvaḥ | dhruvo'pi śiṃśumārasya pucchādhāre vyavasthitaḥ
ध्रुव समस्त ज्योति-चक्र (नक्षत्र-मण्डल) का धुरी-स्वरूप बन गया है। ध्रुव, शिंशुमार के पुच्छ-आधार पर भी स्थित है।
