नक्षत्रमण्डलं कृत्स्नमुपरिष्टात्प्रकाशते । चतुर्दश चार्बुदान्यप्यशीतिः सरितांपतिः
nakṣatramaṇḍalaṃ kṛtsnamupariṣṭātprakāśate | caturdaśa cārbudānyapyaśītiḥ saritāṃpatiḥ
उसके ऊपर समस्त नक्षत्र-मण्डल प्रकाशित होता है। उसका प्रमाण चौदह अर्बुद और अस्सी कहा गया है—ऐसा सरिताओं के पति (वरुण) ने वर्णित किया है।
