इति जपः । स्वर्णपत्राणि नियुतं योजनानां सहस्रकम् । पुष्करं ज्वलदा भाति तच्चिह्नं द्वीपपुष्करम्
iti japaḥ | svarṇapatrāṇi niyutaṃ yojanānāṃ sahasrakam | puṣkaraṃ jvaladā bhāti taccihnaṃ dvīpapuṣkaram
इति जपः। स्वर्ण-पत्रों वाला कमल अग्नि-सा दीप्तिमान है और हजार योजन तक विस्तृत है; वही उसका चिह्न है, इसलिए वह ‘पुष्कर-द्वीप’ कहलाता है।
