जातिस्मृतिरियं पुत्र यस्यां जातौ प्रजायते । स्मरतेऽस्याः प्रकर्तव्यं श्रेयोरूपं सुदुर्लभम्
jātismṛtiriyaṃ putra yasyāṃ jātau prajāyate | smarate'syāḥ prakartavyaṃ śreyorūpaṃ sudurlabham
हे पुत्र! यह जातिस्मृति जिस किसी जन्म में उत्पन्न हो, उसके स्मरण से मनुष्य को परम श्रेय देने वाले, अत्यन्त दुर्लभ कर्म में प्रवृत्त होना चाहिए।
