मया हि दक्षिणो बाहुर्दत्तश्च भवतां सदा । रिपून्वा निहनिष्यामि सत्यं तत्परिपालये
mayā hi dakṣiṇo bāhurdattaśca bhavatāṃ sadā | ripūnvā nihaniṣyāmi satyaṃ tatparipālaye
निश्चय ही मैंने सदा तुम्हें अपना दक्षिण भुज-दण्ड अर्पित किया है। मैं शत्रुओं का अवश्य संहार करूँगा—यह सत्य है; मैं उस प्रतिज्ञा का पालन करूँगा।
