vṛkṣacatvaravāsinyaścatuṣpathaniveśanāḥ | guhāsmaśānavāsinyaḥ śailaprasravaṇālayāḥ

Translation

कुछ देवियाँ वृक्ष-उपवनों और चौक-चौराहों में रहती हैं, कुछ चौराहों पर निवास करती हैं। कुछ गुफाओं और श्मशानों में, और कुछ पर्वत-प्रस्रवण व झरनों के तट पर अपना धाम बनाती हैं।
