रम्यां मनोरमां भूमिं न पश्यामि कथंचन । भृगुरुवाच । विप्राणां स्थापनार्थाय मयापि भ्रमता पुरा
ramyāṃ manoramāṃ bhūmiṃ na paśyāmi kathaṃcana | bhṛguruvāca | viprāṇāṃ sthāpanārthāya mayāpi bhramatā purā
“मैं किसी भी प्रकार ऐसी रमणीय और मंगलमयी भूमि नहीं देखता।” भृगु बोले—“पूर्वकाल में मैं भी ब्राह्मणों की स्थापना हेतु स्थान खोजता हुआ भ्रमण करता रहा।”
