अपरिच्छिन्नसर्वार्था पुत्रं शापितवत्यहम् । विपरीतार्थबोद्धॄणां सुलभा विपदो यतः

Transliteration

aparicchinnasarvārthā putraṃ śāpitavatyaham | viparītārthaboddhṝṇāṃ sulabhā vipado yataḥ

Translation

हे पुत्र, मैं सब बातों का यथार्थ न जान सकी, इसलिए मैंने तुम्हें शाप दे दिया। क्योंकि जो उलटा अर्थ समझते हैं, उनके लिए विपत्तियाँ सहज हो जाती हैं।
