महादेव उवाच । पित्रा हि ते परिज्ञातं दृष्ट्वा त्वां रूपशालिनीम् । बालां स्वयंवरं पुत्री महं दास्यामि नान्यथा
mahādeva uvāca | pitrā hi te parijñātaṃ dṛṣṭvā tvāṃ rūpaśālinīm | bālāṃ svayaṃvaraṃ putrī mahaṃ dāsyāmi nānyathā
महादेव बोले—रूपवती तुम्हें देखकर तुम्हारे पिता ने निश्चय ही सब समझ लिया है। वह अपनी बालिका पुत्री को स्वयंवर में मुझे ही देंगे; अन्यथा नहीं।
