तदस्याः किमहं दद्मि रवेर्दीपमिवाल्पकः । संचिंत्येति महादेव्या नाशिषं दत्तवानहम्
tadasyāḥ kimahaṃ dadmi raverdīpamivālpakaḥ | saṃciṃtyeti mahādevyā nāśiṣaṃ dattavānaham
मैं उसे क्या दे सकता हूँ—जैसे सूर्य को छोटा दीपक अर्पित किया जाए! ऐसा विचार कर मैंने महादेवी को कोई ‘आशीर्वाद’ नहीं दिया।
