गतिं न विविदुश्चापि श्रांता दैत्याश्च देवताः । दैत्यास्त्रभिन्नसर्वांगा गावः शीतार्दिता इव
gatiṃ na vividuścāpi śrāṃtā daityāśca devatāḥ | daityāstrabhinnasarvāṃgā gāvaḥ śītārditā iva
किसी को भी आगे की गति न सूझी; दैत्य और देवता दोनों ही श्रान्त हो गए। दैत्य-अस्त्रों से सर्वांग विदीर्ण होकर वे ऐसे थे मानो शीत से पीड़ित गौएँ काँप रही हों।
