तामापतंतीं संप्रेक्ष्य गदां महिषवाहनः । गदायाः प्रतिघातार्थं जगज्ज्वलनभैरवम्
Transliteration
tāmāpataṃtīṃ saṃprekṣya gadāṃ mahiṣavāhanaḥ | gadāyāḥ pratighātārthaṃ jagajjvalanabhairavam
Translation
उस गदा को अपनी ओर वेग से आती देख महिषवाहन यम ने उसके प्रतिघात हेतु जगत्-दाह-सा भयानक ज्वालारूप प्रचंड तेज तैयार किया।
