इति संचिंत्य वरय वरं यस्मान्न शंकसे । ततः संचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रः शिशुतः सप्तवासरात्
iti saṃciṃtya varaya varaṃ yasmānna śaṃkase | tataḥ saṃciṃtya daityeṃdraḥ śiśutaḥ saptavāsarāt
इसलिए विचार करके ऐसा वर चुनो जिसमें तुम्हें संदेह न हो। तब दैत्यों के राजा ने मनन किया और सात दिन के शिशु के विषय में (एक शर्त) ठहराई।
