ब्रह्मोवाच । किमर्थं भूय एव त्वं नियमं क्रूरमिच्छसि । आहाराभिमुखो दैत्य तन्मे ब्रूहि महाव्रतः
brahmovāca | kimarthaṃ bhūya eva tvaṃ niyamaṃ krūramicchasi | āhārābhimukho daitya tanme brūhi mahāvrataḥ
ब्रह्मा बोले—तुम फिर से कठोर नियम क्यों चाहते हो? हे दैत्य, अब जब तुम आहार की ओर उन्मुख हो, हे महाव्रती, मुझे वह कारण बताओ।
