iṃdradyumna uvāca | tasmādāgaccha gacchāmastameva sahitāvayam | prāhuḥ pūtatamāṃ tīrthādapi satsaṃgatiṃ budhāḥ
Indradyumna
Listener: Kūrma (and companions)
Scene: Indradyumna urges companions to journey together toward Lomaśa; the path is shown as a luminous road where saintly figures appear like tīrthas, with a riverbank tīrtha in the distance rendered secondary.
Association with the saintly (satsaṅga) is presented as the highest purifier, surpassing even sacred places.
No single tīrtha is praised by name; rather, the verse elevates satsaṅga above tīrtha in purifying power.
None; it recommends seeking saintly company and approaching a realized sage.
