शक्रोमि पापिनो देव मन्नियोगेऽन्यमादिश । जगदाधारूपा हि त्वयेशोक्ताः पतिव्रताः
śakromi pāpino deva manniyoge'nyamādiśa | jagadādhārūpā hi tvayeśoktāḥ pativratāḥ
हे देव! इस पापी को मैं अपने अधिकार में भी वश में नहीं कर पा रहा; आप किसी अन्य को आज्ञा दें। क्योंकि हे ईश्वर, आपके द्वारा घोषित पतिव्रता स्त्रियाँ ही जगत् का आधार हैं।
