अगस्तिरुवाच । जानन्न पि गुणान्देवि क्षेत्रस्यास्य परान्द्विजः । नाना प्रमाणैः प्रवणो निरगात्स तथाप्यहो
agastiruvāca | jānanna pi guṇāndevi kṣetrasyāsya parāndvijaḥ | nānā pramāṇaiḥ pravaṇo niragātsa tathāpyaho
अगस्ति बोले—हे देवी, वह द्विज इस क्षेत्र के परम गुणों को जानता था; अनेक प्रमाणों से झुका हुआ भी था, फिर भी—हाय—वह चला गया।
