श्रुतिभिः परिपठ्येते सिताऽसित सरिद्वरे । तत्राप्लुतां गाह्यमृतं भवंतीति विनिश्चितम्

Transliteration

śrutibhiḥ paripaṭhyete sitā'sita saridvare | tatrāplutāṃ gāhyamṛtaṃ bhavaṃtīti viniścitam

Translation

श्रुतियाँ स्वयं श्रेष्ठ नदियों को ‘श्वेता’ और ‘श्यामा’ कहकर गाती हैं। यह निश्चय है कि वहाँ स्नान करने वाले अमृत-तुल्य अमरत्व का भाग पाते हैं।
