sahovāceti jābālirāruṇesiriḍāmatā | varaṇāpiṃgalā nāḍī tadaṃtastvavimuktakam

‘ऐसा ही जाबालि ने आरुणि से कहा’—ऐसी परंपरा है। वरणा और पिंगला दो नाड़ियाँ हैं; उनके भीतर का प्रदेश ही अविमुक्त है।
