देवदेव उवाच । उत्तिष्ठोत्तिष्ठ भद्रं ते प्रसन्नोस्मि महामते । मित्रमन्नेत्रगो नित्यं प्रपश्ये तच्चराचरम्
devadeva uvāca | uttiṣṭhottiṣṭha bhadraṃ te prasannosmi mahāmate | mitramannetrago nityaṃ prapaśye taccarācaram
देवदेव (शिव) बोले—उठो, उठो; तुम्हारा कल्याण हो, हे महामति। मैं प्रसन्न हूँ। मित्र-रूप से तुम्हारी आँख में स्थित होकर मैं सदा उस समस्त चराचर जगत् को देखता हूँ।
