न चातिरिक्तहीनांगीं नातिदीर्घां न वा कृशाम् । नालोमिकां नातिलोमां नास्निग्धस्थूलमौलिजाम्
na cātiriktahīnāṃgīṃ nātidīrghāṃ na vā kṛśām | nālomikāṃ nātilomāṃ nāsnigdhasthūlamaulijām
अत्यधिक हीन या विकृत अंगों वाली, अत्यन्त दीर्घकाय या बहुत कृशा, बहुत कम बालों वाली या अत्यधिक लोमश, तथा अस्निग्ध-स्थूल (रूखे-भारी) केशों वाली कन्या को वधू रूप में न चुने।
