हित्वा श्रुतेरध्ययनं योन्यत्पठितुमिच्छति । स दोग्ध्रीं धेनुमुत्सृज्य ग्रामक्रोडीं दुधुक्षति
hitvā śruteradhyayanaṃ yonyatpaṭhitumicchati | sa dogdhrīṃ dhenumutsṛjya grāmakroḍīṃ dudhukṣati
जो श्रुति के अध्ययन को छोड़कर अन्य ग्रंथ पढ़ना चाहता है, वह मानो दूध देने वाली गाय को छोड़कर गाँव की सूअरी को दुहने की इच्छा करता है।
