darīvidāraṇaparā dāṃtā dāṃtajanapriyā | dāritādritaṭā durgā durgāraṇyapracāriṇī

Translation

वह दरियों और बाधाओं को विदीर्ण करने में तत्पर है; वह दांत (संयमी) है और संयमियों को प्रिय है। वह पर्वत-तटों को चीरकर मार्ग बनाती है; वह दुर्गा है, जो दुर्गम अरण्यों में निर्भय विचरती है।
