इति व्याकुलिते लोके सुरासुरनरोरगे । आःकिमेतदकांडेभूद्रुरुदुर्दुद्रुवुः प्रजाः
iti vyākulite loke surāsuranarorage | āḥkimetadakāṃḍebhūdrurudurdudruvuḥ prajāḥ
इस प्रकार देव, असुर, मनुष्य और नागों सहित लोक व्याकुल हो उठा। प्रजा ‘हाय! यह अकस्मात् क्या हो गया?’ कहकर रोती-बिलखती इधर-उधर दौड़ने लगी।
