यदि ह्यसौ दैत्यवरान्निरस्तान्संजीवयेदत्र पुनःपुनस्तान् । जयः कुतो नो भविता महेश गणेश्वराणां कुत एव शांतिः
yadi hyasau daityavarānnirastānsaṃjīvayedatra punaḥpunastān | jayaḥ kuto no bhavitā maheśa gaṇeśvarāṇāṃ kuta eva śāṃtiḥ
यदि वह यहाँ बार-बार उन श्रेष्ठ दैत्यों को, जिन्हें हमने मार गिराया है, फिर-फिर जीवित कर देता है, तो हे महेश! हमारी विजय कैसे होगी? और गणेश्वरों (गण-नायकों) को शांति कहाँ से मिलेगी?
