हा पूर्णचंद्रमुख हा सुनखांगुलीक हा चाटुकारवचनामृतवीचिपूर । दुःखैः कियद्भिरहहां गमयात्वमाप्तः किं किं कृतं गृहपते न मया त्वदाप्त्यै
hā pūrṇacaṃdramukha hā sunakhāṃgulīka hā cāṭukāravacanāmṛtavīcipūra | duḥkhaiḥ kiyadbhirahahāṃ gamayātvamāptaḥ kiṃ kiṃ kṛtaṃ gṛhapate na mayā tvadāptyai
हाय पूर्णचन्द्र-मुख! हाय सुन्दर नखों-उँगलियों वाले! हाय, जिनके चाटुकार वचन अमृत-तरंगों से भरे हैं! कितने दुःखों से—हाय!—तुम दूर ले जाए गए? हे गृहस्वामी! तुम्हें पाने (और पास रखने) के लिए मैंने क्या-क्या नहीं किया?
