कुछ बिना सहारे भुजाएँ ऊँची किए खड़े रहते थे; कुछ सूर्य-परिक्रमा का व्रत करते थे। कुछ सायं-प्रातः ही भोजन करते थे, और कुछ एकाहार-व्रत का पालन करते थे।
