Transliteration

tṛṇādiśivamūrtyaṃtaṃ viśvakhyātiśayakramaḥ | sannikarṣakramavaśāttayoriti parā śrutiḥ

Translation

तृण से लेकर शिव-मूर्ति तक, जगत् में ख्याति की श्रेष्ठता का क्रम देखा जाता है; पर परम श्रुति के अनुसार जीव और शिव—इन दोनों में निकटता के क्रम से ‘इदं-भाव’ प्रकट होता है।
