वे दिव्य श्वेत वस्त्र धारण किए, दिव्य माला से विभूषित थे; जिनके चरण-कमल देवों के अधिपति, असुरों के नरेश और योगियों में श्रेष्ठ भी वंदन करते हैं।

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Type: stotra
Offering: pushpa
It proclaims Shiva as Pati—the supreme Lord—whose feet are the refuge even for the highest beings; devotion and surrender at His lotus-feet is portrayed as the doorway to purification and liberation.
The verse is a Saguna meditation: Shiva is envisioned with auspicious attributes (white garments, garland), guiding the devotee to concentrate the mind; such dhyāna supports Linga-worship by fixing awareness on Shiva as the indwelling Reality represented by the Linga.
Dhyāna on Shiva’s lotus-feet with bhakti—mentally offering prostration (namaskāra) and repeating Shiva’s name or the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to cultivate humility and one-pointedness.
