शिवानुकम्पा, ब्रह्मणो निर्भयत्वं च (Śiva’s Compassion and Brahmā’s Fearlessness)
शिव उवाच । हिताय सर्वलोकस्य वेद्यां तस्यां व्यवस्थितः । स्थास्यामि सहितः पत्न्या सत्या त्वद्वचनाद्विधे
śiva uvāca | hitāya sarvalokasya vedyāṃ tasyāṃ vyavasthitaḥ | sthāsyāmi sahitaḥ patnyā satyā tvadvacanādvidhe
शिव बोले—समस्त लोकों के हित हेतु, उस वेदी पर स्थित होकर, मैं अपनी पत्नी सती सहित वहीं ठहरूँगा—हे विधाता, तुम्हारे वचनानुसार।
