Sukta 7.28
हवं त इन्द्र महिमा व्यानड्ब्रह्म यत्पासि शवसिन्नृषीणाम् । आ यद्वज्रं दधिषे हस्त उग्र घोरः सन्क्रत्वा जनिष्ठा अषाळ्हः ॥
haváṃ ta indra mahimā́ vyā́naḍ bráhma yát pā́si śavasinn ṛ́ṣīṇām | ā́ yád vájraṃ dadhíṣe hásta ugra ghoráḥ sán kratvā́ janiṣṭhāḥ áṣāḷhaḥ ||
हे इन्द्र! तुझे आह्वान तेरी महिमा को सर्वत्र फैला देता है—यह ब्रह्म (स्तोत्र) जिसे तू अपने बल से ऋषियों के बीच सुरक्षित रखता है। जब तू उग्र होकर अपने हाथ में वज्र धारण करता है, तब तू घोर, प्रचण्ड संकल्प से जन्म लेता है—अजेय, अषाढ़।
