Sukta 6.13
त्वद्विश्वा सुभग सौभगान्यग्ने वि यन्ति वनिनो न वयाः । श्रुष्टी रयिर्वाजो वृत्रतूर्ये दिवो वृष्टिरीड्यो रीतिरपाम् ॥
tvád viśvā́ subhaga saúbhagāny agne ví yanti vaníno ná vayā́ḥ | śruṣṭī́ rayír vā́jo vṛtra-tū́rye divó vṛṣṭír ī́ḍyo rītír apā́m ||
हे सौभाग्यशाली अग्नि! तुझसे ही सब सौभाग्य-सम्पदाएँ वन से पक्षियों की भाँति फैल जाती हैं। श्रुष्टि (आज्ञापालन/श्रवण), रयि (समृद्धि), वाज (बल-पूर्णता) वृत्र-तूर्य (आवरणकर्ता से संग्राम) में; द्यौः की वृष्टि, इड्य (पूज्य) और अपाम् की रीति (जल-प्रवाह का नियम)—ये तेरे ही प्रस्रव हैं।
