Sukta 2.38
विश्वस्य हि श्रुष्टये देव ऊर्ध्वः प्र बाहवा पृथुपाणिः सिसर्ति । आपश्चिदस्य व्रत आ निमृग्रा अयं चिद्वातो रमते परिज्मन् ॥
víśvasya hí śruṣṭáye devá ūrdhváḥ prá bā́havā pṛthú-pāṇiḥ sísarti | ā́paś cid asya vratá ā́ ni-mṛ́grā ayáṃ cid vā́to ramate pári-jman ||
समस्त के श्रवण और प्रत्युत्तर के लिए देव ऊर्ध्व उठता है; विस्तृत-हस्त, पृथु-पाणि, वह अपनी भुजाएँ आगे फैलाता है। जल भी उसके व्रत के अधीन होकर नियत रूप धारण करते हैं; यह वायु भी अपने परिज्मन्-पथ के चारों ओर आनंद से विचरती है।
