Transliteration

utpapātāgnisaṅkāśaṃ hālāhalamahāviṣam | tena dagdhaṃ jagat sarvaṃ sa-devāsuramānuṣam ||

Translation

तब अग्नि के समान प्रज्वलित महाविष ‘हालाहल’ प्रकट हुआ; उससे देव, असुर और मनुष्यों सहित समस्त जगत् दग्ध हो उठा।
