diśā-gajaṃ virūpākṣaṃ dhārayantaṃ mahītalam || 1.40.12 ||

उस प्रदेश को और खोदते हुए, उन्होंने पर्वत-सम विरूपाक्ष नामक दिशागज को पृथ्वी-तल धारण करते देखा।
