सगरस्य पुत्रलाभः
Sagara’s Boons, Progeny, and the Rise of the Sixty Thousand
एका जनयिता तात पुत्रं वंशकरं तव।षष्ठिं पुत्रसहस्राणि अपरा जनयिष्यति।।।।
ekā janayitā tāta putraṃ vaṃśakaraṃ tava | ṣaṣṭiṃ putrasahasrāṇi aparā janayiṣyati ||
हे प्रिय! एक रानी तुम्हें वंश को बढ़ाने वाला एक पुत्र देगी; दूसरी रानी साठ हजार पुत्रों को जन्म देगी।
O child, one wife will beget a son who will perpetuate your race and the other, sixty thousand sons, said Bhrugu.
