तृतीयः सर्गः (Bālakāṇḍa 3): Vālmīki’s Yogic Verification and the Epic Synopsis

राक्षसीतर्जनं चैव त्रिजटास्वप्नदर्शनम् ।मणिप्रदानं सीताया वृक्षभङ्गं तथैव च ।।।।

rākṣasītarjanaṃ caiva trijaṭāsvapnadarśanam | maṇipradānaṃ sītāyā vṛkṣabhaṅgaṃ tathaiva ca ||

वह राक्षसियों द्वारा सीता को धमकाना, त्रिजटा का स्वप्न-दर्शन, सीता द्वारा मणि देना, और वृक्षों का भंग (तोड़ना) भी वर्णित करता है।
