तृतीयः सर्गः (Bālakāṇḍa 3): Vālmīki’s Yogic Verification and the Epic Synopsis
जन्म रामस्य सुमहद्वीर्यं सर्वानुकूलताम् ।लोकस्य प्रियतां क्षान्तिं सौम्यतां सत्यशीलताम् ।।।।
janma rāmasya sumahad vīryaṃ sarvānukūlatām |
lokasya priyatāṃ kṣāntiṃ saumyatāṃ satyaśīlatām ||1.3.10||
नारद ने राम के जन्म, उनके अत्यन्त महान पराक्रम, सबके प्रति अनुकूलता, लोक-प्रियता, क्षमा, सौम्यता और सत्यनिष्ठ स्वभाव का वर्णन किया।
(He described) the birth of Rama, his great prowess, benevolence, pleasant disposition, forbearance, handsome looks and his adherence to truth.
Dharma is embodied as a stable character: truthfulness (satyaśīla), patience (kṣānti), and benevolence toward all form the ethical foundation of an ideal leader.
Nārada continues summarizing Rāma’s life by listing key virtues that define him and justify his fame.
