“जो लोग सीता सहित लौटे हुए राम को, और पुनः आए महाबाहु लक्ष्मण को देखेंगे, वे अपने प्रयोजन में सिद्ध होंगे।”
'Those men who will see Rama returning home along with Sita and mighty-armed Lakshmana, will have their desires fulfilled.'
The king’s longing is oriented toward restoration of rightful order—Rāma’s return—showing dharma as the re-establishment of moral and social balance.
Daśaratha’s final utterance expresses a last hope that the citizens will see Rāma return with Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa.
Rāma’s public beneficence is implied: merely seeing him return is portrayed as a fulfillment for the people.
