रामस्तु भृशमायस्तो निश्श्वसन्निव कुञ्जरः।जगाम सहितो भ्रात्रा मातुरन्तःपुरं वशी।।।।
rāmas tu bhṛśam āyasto niśśvasann iva kuñjaraḥ |
jagāma sahito bhrātrā mātur antaḥpuraṃ vaśī ||
परन्तु राम अत्यन्त व्यथित होकर, हाथी की भाँति दीर्घ निःश्वास लेते हुए भी, आत्मसंयमी होकर, भाई के साथ माता के अन्तःपुर में गए।
