कर्म्मणां सिद्धिकामस्तु पूजयेद्वै विनायकम् । भोगकामस्तु शशिनं बलकामः समीरणम्

karmmaṇāṃ siddhikāmastu pūjayedvai vināyakam | bhogakāmastu śaśinaṃ balakāmaḥ samīraṇam

जो कर्मों में सिद्धि चाहता है वह निश्चय ही विनायक की पूजा करे। जो भोग चाहता है वह शशि (चन्द्र) को, और जो बल चाहता है वह समीरण (वायु) को पूजे।
