हर्षेण महताविष्टस्तं पुत्रं प्रत्युवाच सः । यस्माद्वत्स ममाज्ञा वै न हता कृतवानिह

harṣeṇa mahatāviṣṭastaṃ putraṃ pratyuvāca saḥ | yasmādvatsa mamājñā vai na hatā kṛtavāniha

महान हर्ष से अभिभूत होकर उसने पुत्र से कहा—हे वत्स! क्योंकि तुमने यहाँ मेरी आज्ञा का उल्लंघन नहीं किया, इसलिए तुमने उचित कर्म किया है।
