अन्यायोऽयं महाभाग तवैव इह दृश्यते । पुलस्त्य उवाच । सत्यमुक्तं त्वयाद्यैव गीतार्थं बहुपुण्यदम्

anyāyo'yaṃ mahābhāga tavaiva iha dṛśyate | pulastya uvāca | satyamuktaṃ tvayādyaiva gītārthaṃ bahupuṇyadam

“यह अन्याय है, हे महाभाग; यहाँ यह केवल तुम्हारे ही पक्ष में दिखता है।” पुलस्त्य बोले—“तुमने अभी जो कहा, वह सत्य है; गीत का यह अर्थ अत्यन्त पुण्यदायक है।”
