सूत उवाच । एवं पित्रा सुनीथा सा दुःखिता प्रतिबोधिता । नमस्कृत्य पितुः पादौ गता सा निर्जनं वनम्

सूत बोले—पिता द्वारा इस प्रकार समझाई गई दुःखित सुनीथा ने पिता के चरणों को नमस्कार किया और वह निर्जन वन में चली गई।
