वैवस्वतेंऽतरे पूर्वं शक्रस्य च बृहस्पतेः । संवादः सुमहानासीत्तं वक्ष्यामि निशामय ॥ २ ॥
vaivasvateṃ'tare pūrvaṃ śakrasya ca bṛhaspateḥ | saṃvādaḥ sumahānāsīttaṃ vakṣyāmi niśāmaya || 2 ||
वैवस्वत मन्वंतर से पूर्व शक्र (इन्द्र) और बृहस्पति का एक अत्यन्त महान संवाद हुआ था; उसे मैं कहूँगा—ध्यान से सुनो ॥ २ ॥
